Student Care offers independent information, advocacy and referral across a range of academic and administrative issues to all students enrolled at the GrowSkills.co.uk (School of Business and Language Testing Examination Of IESOL.org.uk )
GrowSkills Institute values truth, transformation and testimony. But for many students, transformation is often hindered by serious emotional and psychological issues that affect not only growth but even daily functioning.
GrowSkills has a Student Care Team, a team of student development professionals who, in collaboration with the Health Center, the GrowSkills Counseling Center (GSCC) and other GrowSkills departments, provides a holistic approach in response to these significant student issues.
We will work with you on various issues including: depression, suicidal ideation, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, mental health concerns, eating disorders, sexual addictions, same-sex attraction, sexual activity and more.
You've enrolled on your program. What happens next?
After you have registered for your program you will receive an email from your program manager, instructing you how to access the Class Network.
If you have any admin-related queries, your program manager will be happy to answer them. For any queries regarding course content or written assignments, there is a dedicated Student Care Admission staff and tutor who is available to support you in your studies.
Your supportive student network
The GrowSkills’s job is to equip you with the up-to-date knowledge you need to thrive in a rapidly growing and ever-changing industry. That’s why our product team, in collaboration with industry experts, work hard to keep your course content fresh, structured and current.
Our Class Network will guide you through your learning experience, providing you with news, updates and advice. Online forums allow you to connect with other students to share ideas, ask questions and receive feedback.
Individual support from our Education and Welfare Officers (EWO) is available by appointment or by dropping into the Student Care office. The EWOs are professionally trained and qualified. They have wide experience in GrowSkills.co.uk (School of Business and Language Testing Examination Of IESOL.org.uk ), systems and policy as well as interacting with external agencies.
Our free and confidential service is available to all undergraduate and post-graduate students. Please contact us between 10am and 5pm, Mon to Fri, either in person (ground floor, Lady Symon Building UK) or by phoning (08) 1157488111. We close for public holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
